P.S. APPLEGARD Question: Yes it can be used on cowhide vachetta handles. However, patina cannot really be removed. Leather care conditioner is a good followup after the cleaner, as the cleaner may dry out the leather over time. The conditioner works to "moisturize" the leather to keep it from drying or cracking.
